Features

of the student borrower and

(if any), and range from 6.5%
to 10.5% of the total loan
amount (requested loan amount
plus the origination fee)
- Use the funds for any
education-related expense

past due balances!

- Receive a preliminary decision for a loan within minutes of applying online or by phone
- You may defer principal
and interest payments for
up to 24 months
- No prepayment penalties
or repayment fees
- Borrow up to $15,000 annually (Subject to a $30,000 aggregate
borrowing maximum)
- Interest may be tax deductible
(consult your tax advisor)
- Funds are sent directly
to the borrower (can be co-payable
to co-borrowers or the school)
- A 0.25% interest rate reduction is available if you elect to have your monthly payments automatically deducted from your bank account
To maintain the interest rate reduction benefit, all payments must be made on time (within 15 days of the payment date) and must be directly debited from a bank account. If a payment is late or the auto deduct is stopped, the rate reduction benefit is lost.

years
- You or your co-signer,
if any, are a U.S. citizen
or permanent resident and
have resided in the U.S. for
the previous two
years
- An international student
with a qualified credit-worthy
U.S. citizen or permanent
resident co-signer
